Capturing Photos in the Pathwave Mobile App

Overview

Photo capture is one of the core field workflows in Pathwave. Using the mobile app, field crews capture required photos directly against a job’s Photo List, ensuring every deliverable is documented before leaving the site.

Photos captured in the app are available in real-time to the Pathwave portal, where back-office teams can track progress, run Quality Reviews, and prepare closeout packages. This creates a single, connected workflow between the field and the office.

Goals

  • Ensure every required photo is captured before crews leave the site
  • Automatically labels, geo-stamps, and date/time stamps photos captured
  • Standardize field documentation across crews, vendors, and job types
  • Reduce rework by surfacing missing or incomplete photos in real time
  • Feed directly into Quality Review and closeout workflows

Important Notes

  • Capturing Photos in the Pathwave Mobile App is available in Offline mode

Access a Job and Navigate to Photos

  1. Sign in to the Pathwave app on your iPad or phone

  2. Select Jobs

  3. Select a job

  4. Select Photos at the bottom of the Job Details screen

  5. Select a Photo Label to start capturing photos

  6. The photo is saved to the job and associated with the selected photo label. You can capture multiple photos per photo label.
