Generating a Primary or Site Owner Closeout Package (COP) in Pathwave

Steps to Generate a Closeout Package

  1. Access the COP Tab

    • Log in to Pathwave and navigate to the job for which you need to generate the closeout package.
    • Go to the Primary COP or Site Owner COP tab.
  2. Generate the Closeout Package

    • Ensure all required field photos, reference documents, field data capture documents, safety documents, and COP requirements are gathered in the system.
    • Click on the Generate Closeout Package icon.
    • Depending on the size of the file, Pathwave will generate the final deliverable in seconds.
  3. Download and Share the Closeout Package

    • Once the package is generated, you can download the zip file directly from Pathwave.
    • To share the package with your customer, use the Share Job link from the Overview tab. Pathwave will generate a unique link that you can share with your customer.
  4. Accessing the Shared Job

    • The unique link brings your customer to a landing page that allows them to access the job.
    • The end user only sees the information that you have indicated to be shared with them.

Managing Closeout Default Options

The Manage Closeout Default Options setting is located in the bottom right-hand corner of the Primary COP or Site Owner COP tab. This allows you to specify the default settings for your closeout packages, including:

  • File Format: Indicate the default file format for your COPs.
  • Photos Per Page: Set the number of photos to be included per page.
  • PDF Compression: Choose whether to compress the PDF.
  • Cover Page: Decide whether to include a cover page.
  • Combine Documents into PDF: Option to combine all documents into a single PDF.
  • Include JHAs: Choose whether to include Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs).
  • Photo Metadata: Control the default settings for metadata that appears on your photos.
  • COP Cover Page Structure: Manage the overall structure of the fields on your COP cover page.
