Job Assignments in Pathwave
The Job Assignments feature allows partners to assign team members to specific jobs in Pathwave. Assigned users receive instant notifications and can filter their job board to see only their assigned work.
Overview
The Job Assignments feature helps partners organize and manage responsibilities across projects. Partners can now assign key personnel directly to a job in Pathwave — ensuring each role receives notifications and can easily locate assigned jobs from their personalized job board view.

Assigning managers directly to jobs promotes clear accountability, reduces miscommunication, and simplifies job tracking. Each assigned user gains:

How to Assign a Manager
Step-by-Step Instructions-
Navigate to the Job Details page within Pathwave.

Locate the Job Assignments section.

Select the role you wish to assign (e.g., Quality Manager, Safety Manager).

Choose the appropriate user from the dropdown list.

Click Assign.
🟢 Result: The selected individual is now assigned to the job and will receive a notification.
By default, a system role of Partner Manager and above is required to appear in the job assignment drop down. This setting can be adjusted by reaching out to support@pathwave.com.

Notifications
When a user is assigned to a job:

They receive a an email alert (based on preferences).

The notification includes:

Job ID
-
Project Name
-
Direct link to open the job in Pathwave

Managing Notification Preferences
Users can customize how they receive notifications by adjusting their account settings.
To do this:

Select your profile icon in the top-right corner of Pathwave.

Click My Profile > Settings.

Open the Notifications tab and enable or disable the options that best fit your workflow.

Filtering and Saved Views
- How to Filter and Save Your Job Board View
- Go to the Jobs page in Pathwave.
- Select the Filter icon.
- Choose one or more filters such as:
- Job Assignment
- Region / Office Assignment
- Customer
- Contractor
- Select Save View and name it (e.g., “My Assigned Jobs”).
🟢 Result: Pathwave will remember your preferred view and load it automatically the next time you open the Jobs page.
