Fixing Misplaced Photos in the Photo List

A Guide to Moving Photos Between Categories in the Mobile App and Web Portal

Mistakes happen in the field, and photos are sometimes captured under the wrong photo requirement. Pathwave makes it easy to relocate photos to the correct category—whether you are using the Pathwave mobile app or the web-based Portal.

Important: Photos cannot be moved once a Quality Review is in progress. When a review has been initiated, all photos become locked and cannot be edited or relocated.

Move Photos Using the Pathwave Mobile App

Follow these steps to relocate a photo captured in the wrong category:

  1. Open the Pathwave app and navigate to the job.

  2. Open the photo list and tap the photo that needs to be moved.

  3. In the top right corner of the photo viewer, select the scissors icon (✂️).

Move Photos Using the Web-Based Portal

If you're working from a browser, you can reassign photos directly from the Portal:

  1. Open the job in the Pathwave Portal.
  2. Navigate to the Photos tab.
  3. Find the photo requirement that contains the photo captured incorrectly.
  4. Select the three dots (...) next to that requirement.
  5. Click Move Photos.

Restrictions on Moving Photos

  • Photos cannot be moved once a Quality Review is in progress.
When a review has been requested or started, all photos are locked to maintain data integrity for the auditing team.

  • If you need to move a photo but see that the option is disabled, verify whether a review has been initiated.
