Partner Connections: Assigning Jobs Across Subcontractors and Partner Organizations

How Pathwave Enables Secure Cross-Portal Job Assignments for Multi-Organization Teams

Partner Connections Overview

Partner Connections allow Pathwave partners to assign jobs to external subcontractors while maintaining full oversight of job progress, photos, and deliverables. Subcontractors complete the work in their own Pathwave portal, but the assigning partner retains visibility exactly as if the job were worked internally.

Subcontractors may work for multiple general contractors at the same time and will only see jobs assigned to them within each specific connection. This model ensures secure permissions, clean data separation, and operational clarity.

How to Submit a New Partner Connection (Single)

Partners can request an individual Partner Connection using one of the following methods.

Option 1: Subcontractor Setup Request Form

Submit the standard Subcontractor Setup Request Form with the required subcontractor details.

Option 2: Email Request

  • Contact support@pathwave.com with the following information:
    • Company name
    • Primary point of contact
    • Email
    • Mobile number

What Happens Next

Pathwave Support will verify whether the subcontractor:

  • Already has a Pathwave account

  • Is already connected to other partners

If the subcontractor exists:

  • A Partner Connection is created

  • Job assignments can begin immediately

If the subcontractor is new:

  • A new portal is created

  • The subcontractor receives onboarding and access instructions

How to Submit a New Partner Connection (Bulk - Enterprise Partners)

Enterprise partners may submit multiple Partner Connection requests at once using a standardized template.

When to Use Bulk Requests

Bulk requests are recommended when:

  • Onboarding multiple subcontractors

  • Migrating subcontractors from another system

  • Launching a new market, program, or initiative

  • Managing subcontractors across multiple internal teams

Step 1: Complete the Template

The Subcontractor Setup Request template requires one row per subcontractor and typically includes:

  • Subcontractor company name

  • Primary contact name

  • Email address

  • Mobile number

  • (Optional) Notes or program identifiers

Please ensure all required fields are completed accurately to avoid processing delays.

Step 2: Submit the Completed Template

Send the completed template to support@pathwave.com for review and processing.

Step 3: Pathwave Review & Processing

Pathwave Support will:

  • Validate existing accounts

  • Identify existing Partner Connections

  • Create new Partner Connections as needed

  • Create new portals for subcontractors not yet in Pathwave

Step 4: Confirmation

Once complete:

  • Partners receive confirmation of established connections

  • New subcontractors receive onboarding instructions

  • Job assignments can begin immediately

Important Notes

  • Accurate contact information is required to avoid delays

  • Partner Connections do not grant visibility into another partner’s data until a job is explicitly shared between the companies

  • Duplicate portals are not created if a subcontractor already exists in Pathwave
