🎥 Understanding the Pathwave Dashboard & Real-Time Visibility

Purpose of the Dashboard

The Pathwave Dashboard is the primary workspace for back-office teams. It provides immediate visibility into:

  • Real-time field activity

  • Certification compliance

  • Job assignments and subcontractor activity

  • Job status distribution across teams

The Dashboard serves as a centralized, real-time view of what is happening in the field.

Certification Highlights

At the top of the Dashboard, Certification Highlights surface personnel certifications that are:

  • Expired

  • Missing

  • Expiring within the next 60 days

This allows operations and safety teams to proactively identify certification gaps and address them before work is impacted or compliance issues arise.

Real-Time Crew Activity Map

The Dashboard includes a map that displays crews as soon as they check in onsite.

A crew will appear on the map when any of the following actions are completed in the Pathwave mobile app:

  • Completion of a Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) (typically required as the first activity of the day)

  • Capturing photos

  • Submitting a fillable form

Each crew check-in creates a corresponding entry on the map.

Crew Activity Details

Selecting a crew entry on the map provides a quick preview, including:

  • The time the JHA was initiated

  • The crew foreman

  • A summary of activity completed onsite

This allows office teams to confirm who is working, where they are working, and what has been completed—without opening individual jobs.

Viewing Historical Activity

Above the map, the Active Jobs For selector allows users to:

  • View current-day activity (default)

  • Review activity from any prior date

This is commonly used for audits, reporting, and operational follow-up.

Job Assignment & Status Summary

The Dashboard also provides a high-level overview of:

  • Jobs assigned directly to your company

  • Jobs assigned to subcontractors

Jobs are displayed using a color-coded status breakdown, allowing teams to quickly assess workload distribution and job progress.

Dashboard Filters & User Visibility

By default, Dashboard visibility is scoped to the Region or Office assignment of the logged-in user.

Filters at the top of the Dashboard allow users to adjust their view as needed.

Partner Administrators and Partner Managers who are not assigned to a Region or Office will see all activity by default.

Real-Time Visibility in the Pathwave Mobile App

To support field users and leadership, the Pathwave mobile app includes a scaled-down version of the Dashboard.

Accessing Daily Activity
  1. Open the Pathwave mobile app

  2. Select the Daily Activity icon

Daily Activity Overview

The Daily Activity view provides a mobile-friendly snapshot of real-time field activity.

Each job with a crew checked in onsite appears as an entry when a crew:

  • Completes a JHA

  • Captures photos

  • Submits a fillable form

These triggers mirror the same activity that drives visibility on the portal Dashboard.
