4.5 Moving Photos to the Correct Photo List Category
How to correct misfiled photos in the Pathwave app and Portal—before a photo is approved or rejected.
Overview
It is common for field personnel to accidentally capture a photo under the wrong photo requirement. Pathwave allows photos to be moved to the correct category directly from the mobile app or the web-based Portal.
Note: To maintain a clean audit trail and ensure Quality Review accuracy, photos cannot be moved once they have been reviewed (approved or rejected). Any photo that enters the review workflow becomes locked to preserve the chain of custody and reviewer actions.
Move Photos Using the Web-Based Portal
To move a photo from the Portal:
- Open the job in the Pathwave Portal.
- Navigate to the Photos tab.
- Find the photo requirement that contains the photo captured incorrectly.
- Select the three dots (...) next to that requirement.
- Click Move Photos.
- Choose the destination photo category.

- Confirm the action.
- The selected photo(s) will immediately move to the new category.

Note: If the Select Destination option is disabled when attempting to move a photo, it means the photo has already been accepted or rejected during a Quality Review. Once a reviewer takes action on a photo, the item becomes locked to preserve audit integrity and can no longer be moved to a different category.
To resolve reviewed photos that were placed in the wrong category, refer to:
