# Add Certifications for Crew Members

Track crew certifications to always have copies on site and be informed of upcoming and expired certifications. To add certifications for crew members, first [add team members as Personnel in Pathwave](https://support.pathwave.com/hc/en-us/articles/360058291772?hsLang=en).

#### **Add Certifications for Crew Members**

1. Select "Personnel" from the left navigation.
2. Select the team member to add certifications for (or [Add Personnel](https://support.pathwave.com/hc/en-us/articles/360058291772?hsLang=en) if the team member is not  yet listed).
3. Select "+ Add" to add a certification.
4. Specify the certification information and Save.
5. Upload the document for that specific certification.
6. Select "Close" once the document is uploaded.
7. Select "+ Add" to add additional certifications.

### What if a Certification Type isn't listed?

Add a Certification Type in the Pathwave Portal under Configuration \> Certification Types \> + Add.
