Personnel Positions

Positions can be used to track career progression, titles, special roles, and required certifications. Track Positions across your team such as Tower Tech 1, Tower Tech 2, Project Manager, Construction Manager, and more.

Configuring Positions in the Pathwave portal enables Safety teams, management, and owners to identify Missing Certifications for team members to facilitate upcoming training and crew deployment.

Create and Configure Positions

In order to assign positions to personnel and require certifications, first create and configure Positions by completing the following:

1. Navigate to the Pathwave Portal
2. Select Configuration > Personnel Positions
3. Select "+ Add Position"
4. Enter the Position Name, such as Tower Tech 1, Tower Tech 2, Project Manager, Construction Manager, etc.
5. If the position requires certifications, specify the certifications by selecting the checkbox on as many certifications as needed.
   1. Note: if the position does not require certifications, skip this step.
   2. Certifications can be added or modified in the Pathwave Portal in Configuration > Certification Types
6. Select "Save" to save the Position
7. Create as many Positions as needed for the company

Identify Required Certifications for each Position

To track and report on missing certifications for each team member, create Personnel Positions and configure Required Certifications for each position. 

Assign Positions to Personnel

To start tracking and reporting on Missing Certifications

1. Navigate to the Pathwave Portal
2. Select Personnel
3. Select a team member by selecting their first name or next to their first name
4. Select "Edit" under the team member's profile
5. Select the Position for the team member
   1. Positions can be created in the Pathwave Portal in Configuration > Personnel Positions
6. Select "Save"
7. Move on to the next team member and repeat these steps

Assigning Positions to Personnel enabled additional information for each Personnel and reporting:

• Notice on a team member's profile, the list of Missing Certifications based on that team member's position are now available under the team member's certifications. 
• The Missing Certifications Report in the Pathwave Portal is now populated with team information
