How to use Photo Lists

Pathwave guides crews through the photos you need and eliminates return site visits. Enable your team to never miss a photo on site by creating a photo list to specify the job photos crew members need to take while on site.

In Pathwave Photo Lists, you can create photo lists and photo labels needed for site walks, closeout packages, punchlists, customers, site owners, and photos specific to a job. Photos are automatically labeled, organized, date/time stamped, and tailored to your jobs.

How to use Photo Lists

Photo lists provide a reusable template of photos for specific job types, work types, or scope of work. Create photo lists for types of work or specific closeout requirements. 

In the Pathwave portal, start adding photo lists in Configuration > Photo Lists > Add Photo List.

 

Photo List Recommendations for Special Scenarios

Scenario Pathwave Best Practice
For a Customer that is also a Site Owner Create a Site Owner Photo List*
For a Customer across different markets Create a Primary Photo List for each market if photo requirements differ.
For a Site Walk that needs to be included in a Closeout Package Create a Primary Photo List and add a "Pre-Construction" or "Site Walk" Folder
For a Customer and Tower Owner that ask for similar sets of photos

Create a Primary Photo List for the Customer

Create a Site Owner List for the Tower Owner

Map the similar photos together using Relationships to reduce the number of duplicate photos the crew must take.

*A Primary photo list is required for a job. In the future, Pathwave will no longer require a Primary photo lists for a job. In the meantime, if your job only requires a Site Owner photo list and does not require a Primary photo list, you can create an "Other" Primary Photo List with one photo label of "Other".

Photo List Types

Different types of photo lists provide flexibility in how you create closeout packages or photo reports. 

Photo List Type Closeout Package Use For...
Internal Not included in Closeout Packages. Site Walks, Internal Audits that don't require a closeout package.
Primary* Included in End User Closeout Package.

Customers, End Users, Turf Vendors.

Site Owner Included in Site Owner Closeout Package. Tower Owners, Site Owners.

Create a New Photo List

Start creating photo lists for your internal processes and closeout package requirements.

  1. Select "Configuration" from the left navigation.
  2. Select "Photo Lists".
  3. Select "Add Photo List".
    1. Select the Type of Photo List
    2. Create a name for the photo list - the name is how you'll refer to this photo list on a job.
    3. Mark the photo list as Active in order to select this photo list on a job.
    4. Select "Save".
  4. Start building your photo list by Adding a Folder or Adding a Photo label.
    1. Note: Add Photo > Photo Name is included in the Closeout Package. Instructional text is to guide crews take the correct photo(s) needed. The instructional text is not included in the Closeout Package.

Create an efficient order of photos to take for the crew without impacting the photo label on a closeout package by using Photo Categories.
